OpenAIKits Terms of Service

Operator and privacy contact: OpenAIKits · fredriccliver@gmail.com

1. Accounts and responsible use

OAK.memory is operated by OpenAIKits. Use an email-confirmed account and protect your sign-in credentials. An account does not grant access to other users’ stores. Store only information you have authority to process and share, and do not use the service for unlawful access. Do not place passwords or access tokens in chat; sign in through the official OAuth flow.

2. Private and shared stores

Owners grant readers, editors or administrators access to individual stores. OAuth permissions and current membership both limit access. A recording author is distinct from people described in a memory; preserve original quotations and do not infer the speaker of ambiguous statements. Saving, editing or deleting memories requires the corresponding permissions. Revoke a connection in OAK or reconnect to select another store.

3. Usage, billing and reliability

Free allowances, credit prices and request/storage limits are shown in your account and the current pricing information. Credits measure service usage and are not cash. Optional paid checkout is processed through Polar under the terms shown at checkout. Contact OpenAIKits about billing, cancellation or refunds; deleting an account is not a substitute for cancelling a recurring subscription. Providers can reject requests or be unavailable. Memory content can be incomplete or inaccurate; check the original sources before relying on it.

4. Withdrawal, deletion and contact

Export information you wish to keep before requesting deletion. Send withdrawal or deletion requests to fredriccliver@gmail.com from your registered address; OpenAIKits verifies ownership and completes deletion of active service data within one week. Infrastructure backups expire under the provider’s configured rotation as described in the privacy notice. Shared data requests must identify the requester’s records and other members’ rights. Contact OpenAIKits through the same address for service or data-rights questions.

5. Subscription renewal and cancellation

Recurring subscriptions follow the cycle, price and renewal conditions shown at checkout. Use billing management to open the Polar customer portal, or request cancellation from the operator. The effective cancellation date and remaining access follow the portal confirmation and payment terms. Account deletion or OAuth revocation does not itself cancel recurring payment; cancel an active subscription separately. Paid allowances may not be granted until payment is confirmed.

6. Withdrawal, refunds and billing errors

Send the product, purchase date, usage and reason through the operator or Polar support process. These terms do not restrict statutory withdrawal/refund rights. Where South Korean consumer law provides a seven-day withdrawal right, that right applies. Restrictions for consumed digital services depend on legal requirements and disclosures at purchase; using a feature does not automatically waive every right. Duplicate, erroneous or undelivered purchases are checked and corrected or refunded as appropriate. Confirmed refunds may revoke corresponding credits or access. We explain the available remedy and process without imposing conditions contrary to mandatory consumer rights.

7. User obligations and prohibited conduct

Protect accounts and credentials and keep account details accurate. Do not access others’ accounts/data unlawfully, store/share unlawful or infringing material, disrupt the service with malware or excessive requests, or bypass limits, payment or authorization. Only input others’ personal data with appropriate authority. Verified violations can lead to access restrictions with reasons and a route to appeal. Urgent security/legal circumstances may require proportionate protective measures before notice.

8. Content rights and permitted processing

Input content remains owned by its rights holders. OpenAIKits processes it only as necessary for requested storage, search, display, export, sharing, security and maintenance. Submitting content does not grant blanket advertising or general AI-training rights. Software, branding and documentation remain with their rights holders; open-source components follow their licenses. Report infringement with the affected record and supporting evidence.

9. Service changes, interruption and restriction

Maintenance, security incidents, provider outages, legal requirements or feature changes can interrupt or restrict service. Planned material changes receive advance notice; emergency reasons and remedies are explained as soon as practicable. Undelivered paid service is considered for remediation, access adjustment or refund under applicable law and payment terms. Permanent closure includes export and termination guidance. OpenAIKits cannot change external AI-app plans or organization policies.

10. Responsibility and protected rights

Memory retrieval and external AI interpretations are not guaranteed complete or accurate; check sources for important decisions. The operator remains responsible for attributable faults under applicable law. These terms do not waive intent/gross negligence, privacy duties or statutory consumer rights. Issues caused by unlawful input, unauthorized sharing or separate external services are assessed according to the relevant conduct and provider’s responsibility.

11. Contact, disputes and governing rules

Contact fredriccliver@gmail.com for service, payment or data-rights complaints. We examine the facts and explain remedies. These terms are interpreted under South Korean law without excluding mandatory laws and consumer rights applicable to you. Jurisdiction follows applicable law and procedure; no single court is unilaterally designated as exclusively competent.

12. Application and amendments

These terms apply from publication. Changes show a date and explanation; ordinary changes receive seven days’ notice and materially adverse changes thirty days. Changes requiring separate consent follow lawful consent procedures; silence is not blanket acceptance. Before application you may ask questions, cancel a subscription, export data or withdraw your account. Individual checkout terms and mandatory legal provisions also apply.
